THE SPIRIT OF REVIVAL

The first quarter of the calendar year has already come to a close!  As we begin the second quarter of 2023, we are overwhelmed with what the Lord has already done.  Thus far, 2023 has sent us into four different states (Oklahoma, West Virginia, Kentucky, Ohio).  In these four states, the Lord has moved on the hearts of nearly 200 people to surrender to His Lordship.  The spirit of revival and awakening have flooded every service, and the preaching has been accompanied with signs, wonders, and miracles.  Baptisms have also taken place in every service, of which there have been 277!  Watching people from every generation bury their old life and come out of the water completely refreshed will never grow old.  

ONE STORY STICKS OUT

In particular, one story sticks out from a service in Oklahoma.  After a morning service and teaching about the coming of the Lord, the altars were filled with young people repenting.  Among the crowd at the altar was a teenage young man with red hair.  He was trembling before the Lord.  He ultimately gave his heart to Jesus in that moment and was baptized later that evening in the final service.  During his salvation experience, his mother was in the corner of the room weeping before the Lord.  When a prayer team member reached her, she explained that her son was a professing Satanist.  In fact, while she was getting ready for church that morning, he was walking through the house yelling, “Hail Satan!”  She was stunned that he decided to come to the service, and she assumed he was coming to create a disruption.  Little did he know that the spirit of the Lord would disrupt the enemy’s plan for his life.  He was made new in a moment, and is continuing to pursue the Lord.
